The Ardèche Gorge is an absolute must-visit. It is incredibly beautiful here.
Usually, people travel along the canyon by car, along a scenic road that winds along the gorge, stopping at viewpoints. Such a trip takes about 3 hours.
To be honest, we were not very impressed by this kind of canyon visit. So we decided to spend the night at a campsite (there are plenty of them along the gorge), and the next day we rented kayaks and set off down the gorge by water. It was awesome :)
