Chenonceau Castle

The castle-bridge... From afar, it’s certainly incredibly impressive.

Part of the castle was under renovation, but I think that’s not the point...

The gardens, compared with the gardens in Hautefort and Villandry, quietly weep in the corner....

The chambers evoked melancholy... Beautiful, but utterly lifeless.

And here come the crowds... Crowds like these were milling around the castle... Probably because of that, the visit left a strange impression.
