Stará Ľubovňa

The castle was built in 1301 - 1308 to protect trade routes. After a fire in 1553, the castle was reconstructed in the Renaissance style, later in the Baroque style. But in 1772, the castle fell into disrepair. Partially restored.

Now the castle is open to visitors; useful information can be found on the website. I highly recommend visiting it!
