Valdštejn is just a stone’s throw from Hrubá Skála — only 3.5 kilometers through a beautiful scenic forest.

By the way, along the way you’ll see Adam’s Bed, and don’t spare the time — stop by the Marian Viewpoint. It’s such a wonderful place with a view of the castle and the village of Hrubá Skála. There you go.

The castle is open from May to October! We came there in April and, in fact, didn’t get inside. Still, it’s beautiful from the outside too, so no matter.
