Itinerary

Wolf woke up before me and immediately got to work. I got up and cut up a mango; that was our breakfast, very tasty and sweet.

Later we went to a place we already knew, where we ate rice and a banana pancake.

Then we accidentally found a street where mopeds were being rented out in large numbers. We asked around and decided to come back here tomorrow for a moped.

We returned to the hotel. We decided to work. I needed to finish the website, and Wolf also had plenty to do. The internet at the hotel was good.

Wolf worked at the table, and I worked on the bed. Not comfortable. But my laptop is so wonderful.

In the evening we went out again for a walk and something to eat. Before that, while I was getting dressed, I discovered that my T-shirt had somehow disappeared. Apparently I had thrown it on the bed in the morning before leaving, and the girls who cleaned the room didn’t notice it and took it along with the bedding. We couldn’t find out anything at the reception. English in Thailand is peculiar, it’s very hard to communicate with them. In the end it became clear that the room where they wash the linen was already closed and we’d have to ask tomorrow….

We went into a couple of shoe stores, thinking of buying Wolf different shoes; his boots are uncomfortable and smell really bad. There was a big selection, but nothing worth buying. What we liked was unreasonably expensive.

Then we wandered into another night market, where they were cooking all kinds of food. We ate delicious pad thai (a popular Thai dish made with rice noodles); the portions here are generous, one plate is enough for the two of us.

We also bought durian at the market. Of course, the smell is just awful, but the fruit itself is quite tasty if you can somehow ignore its smell.
