Ao Nang beaches

Asia 2016

Itinerary

Today we decided to travel around the beaches near Ao Nang. Having learned a hard lesson from the low tides after lunch, we set off early and first went to the first beach, which turned out to be terrible. Whether it was because of the strong wind or not, but today on all the beaches the water was no better than in the Sea of Azov — brown in color.

We decided to go to another remote beach, which turned out to be nice and uncrowded. Strong waves and murky water spoiled the impression a little, but we swam anyway. Far in the distance, other people were relaxing. I found beautiful shells on the beach, and I really wanted to take them with me…. Volchiy laughs and says, why do you need them?

On the way home, we stopped by a pharmacy in Ao Nang and wanted to buy coconut oil, which supposedly helps with everything — we wanted to apply it to our skin after sunbathing. It seemed to me that the prices for coconut oil in Ao Nang were unreasonably inflated because of how touristy the place is, so we decided to postpone the purchase until we arrived in a less popular city.

We had a tasty rice lunch near the hotel.
