Day 11: October 11

According to plan, today we were going to go on a short hike in the mountains, but Volchy urgently needs to work, so we stay in Imlil for another day. In the morning, we move to another hotel, very beautiful and cozy.

Volchy works all day. And I sit on the hotel roof, warming myself in the sun. I read. The day passes somehow unnoticed. Toward evening, we head out for a walk to the center of the village. We eat soup. We buy gloves and bread. We meet a lovely young couple and ask them how things are in the mountains. They have just returned from the mountains and say it’s very nice there. In general, there are very few tourists in Imlil, as if the season is already over.

At sunset, we drink tea on the roof with a Snickers bar that we had planned to take with us to the mountains.
