Český Krumlov

I don’t really like all these dates, names, surnames, dynasties. But it’s still interesting when people created all this. So I’m writing about it. And so it all began in the distant 1250s, during the period of rule by the dukes from Krumlov, who belonged to the Vítkovci dynasty.
However, already in the early 1300s the castle passed into the possession of the Rosenbergs, who remained here until the 1600s. During their rule, both the castle and the town were in excellent condition and reached their greatest flourishing. Then some confusion began with the Habsburgs and the Eggenbergs, which I didn’t want to get into.
In the 19th century, the castle lost its importance as the main royal residence. And since then it has served simply as a museum. A beautiful museum.

This is a little town for those who want to plunge back into childhood, who love streets in the form of stairways, souvenir shops, bridges, orange roofs, gingerbread houses, sand castles, and sundials (there are as many as two of them in the castle).

Simply beautiful. View of the city from the castle bridge.

The little town is getting ready for rain... it has gathered clouds in the sky and is waiting.

And here is the castle. If you go right, you’ll reach the castle; if you go left, you’ll reach the castle; if you go straight ahead, you’ll reach the city and see the bridge over the river.
