Chile 2023
Itinerary
Today we move on.
We’re heading to Punta Tombo, the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in Argentina.
I think that because of the place’s popularity, admission is paid — $8 per person.
It’s beautiful here, with vast open spaces by the ocean. There are so many penguins, and they’re very close!

The penguin was looking at me very amusingly

Penguins on the coast. We watched them swim and come out of the water.

Caught up :)

On the way, we saw a windmill pumping water. Serzhyk really wanted to take a photo with it.
We arrived in Puerto Madryn very late. Today we’re staying in a hotel.
On the one hand, that’s nice; on the other - there’s no kitchen and we have to go to a restaurant for dinner...
We spent a long time choosing a restaurant based on reviews, and picked one.
The restaurant itself turned out to be very nice, with almost all the tables occupied.
We couldn’t decide for a long time what to order.
In the end, we ordered fried vegetables and a chicken cutlet. The food was almost inedible...
I don’t like restaurants :) For some reason, they’re more stress than pleasure for me...

Our inedible food. How can you make a chicken cutlet taste bad???

Our route for today: Comodoro Rivadavia - Punta Tombo (penguins) - Puerto Madryn (overnight stay). We drove 546 km
